Cak Nun's Visit At Sardjito Hospital, Ganjar: His Condition Is Improved, Let's Pray For His Recovery

JOGJAKARTA - The condition of the scholar and culturalist Emha Ainun Najib or who is familiarly called Cak Nun is gradually improving. Even so, Cak Nun must be treated intensively at the Dr Sardjito Hospital, Sleman Jogjakarta.This was conveyed by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo after visiting Cak Nun, Saturday, August 5. Ganjar took the time to visit the founder of the Maiyah congregation while attending an event in Jogjakarta."Alhamdulillah, I met Cak Nun's wife, Ms. Novia Kolopaking. She told me that Cak Nun had been in the ward for two days and was no longer in the ICU. Her condition has started to improve," said Ganjar.It was said that Ganjar could not visit Cak Nun directly into the treatment room. So that during the visit, Ganjar only saw Cak Nun from outside the room."The family asked to stay in the ward. So I was in front of the ward, I didn't meet him in the room so he could rest," he explained.Ganjar said all artists, writers and cultural observers pray for Cak Nun to recover soon. Many people asked how Cak Nun was doing to Ganjar because they thought Ganjar lived in Jogja.
"I was called by friends from East Java, Sumatra and artists and cultural observers throughout Indonesia to confirm the news of Cak Nun. People outside Java thought I lived in Jogja and they asked about it. Alhamdulillah, he had received information from his family, that Cak Nun had improved. Two days in the ward showed good progress," he explained.Of course Ganjar prays for Cak Nun to get well quickly. Because many people have missed his lectures, his recitation and his music which always tease everyone to listen."Let's pray that Cak Nun will recover soon and return with all of us," he concluded.As previously reported, Cak Nun was taken to the hospital after experiencing a brain hemorrhage. Until now, Cak Nun is still being treated intensively at Dr Sardjito Hospital, Special Region (DI) Yogyakarta.
