BCA Ensures IDR 0 Interbank Transfer Information Is Not True, It's Fraud Mode
JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) has opened its voice regarding the news on social media which states that BCA provides information regarding free interbank transfers by registering through certain methods.
"We can say that the news is untrue and it can be ascertained that it is a fraud," said BCA's EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F. Haryn in his official statement, quoted Monday, July 24.
Hera also appealed to loyal customers to always be careful of individuals on behalf of BCA. If you get suspicious information on behalf of BCA, customers can contact the local branch office or HaloBCA contact center via 1500888 and the Halo BCA application.
"Never share confidential banking personal data, such as ATM card numbers, PIN, OTP, and others," he said.

Not only that, Hera also advised all customers to get information only from the official BCA channel.
Also make sure to get information only from official BCA channels, such as the Halo BCA application, No Official Halo BCA 1500888 (without 021, +0621, or other additions), WhatsApp: Bank BCA 0811500998 (there is a green tick), Instagram: @goodlifebca (already blue tick), and the official website BCA.
As is known, information circulated regarding interbank transfers worth Rp. 0 on behalf of BCA. This information is circulating on social media and WhatsApp groups. If the customer follows the step to register (sign up) it is suspected that the data on the cellphone can be hacked.
