JAKARTA - A fire incident hit a residential area on Jalan Kramat Pulo Gundul, Gang R, RT 10/10, Tanah Tinggi Village, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 17. The fire was reported to the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer at 07.03 WIB. "The fire was successfully extinguished at around 08.05 WIB after watering was carried out by 13 fire engines with 65 personnel," said Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Asril Rizal when confirmed, Monday, July 17. Furthermore, Asril said, the object that caught fire was a resident's residence.

"The houses that burned were semi-permanent," he said. As a result of the fire incident, as many as 6 families (KK) with 14 people were affected by the fire. Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the fire incident. "The cause of the fire is thought to have come from a gas stove. The victim was nil," he said.
