Ganjar Pranowo Delivered Historic Car Fatmawati Soekarno In Bali
BALI - The red and white-flagged black car is parked on the edge of Tegal Harum Street number 13 Biaung, Bali, Saturday 17 June. Even though it is old, the Plymouth brand's De Luxe Four Door sedan still looks very fierce and steals the attention of many people, including Ganjar Pranowo.
It turns out that the car produced by the United States in 1948 is not an arbitrary car. He is a car that has a high history. This car originally belonged to Fatmawati, the wife of the First President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno. At that time, this Plymouth car was a car that was used by the Soekarno family every day.
Fatmawati's car is not just displayed on the side of the road. This black car is actually waiting for passengers.
The car is a special vehicle used to pick up Ganjar Pranowo, the 2024 presidential candidate from the PDIP party. That afternoon, Ganjar will meet Gen Z's children who are gathering at the Vintage Cars Bali Gardens.
When Ganjar arrived at the location, the governor of these two periods looked very interested in the car. His eyes admired the classic car. "This is a collection car here, isn't it really cool. Can you ride it?" said Ganjar.
Ganjar then wanted to get on the front seat. He walked to the front of the left car. But he was surprised, it turned out that the steering handle of the car was on the left. And in it, Ni Luh Nitta Prabaningsih, a young figure in Bali as well as a driver of Ganjar.
"Well, it's wrong, it turns out that the passengers are right. Okay, you're the one who inserted me," he said.
Ganjar Pranowo then got into the car used by the Soekarno family. Beside him, Nitta prepared with a cheerful smile.
However, Nitta's face looked nervous. Because when he entered the percenting, he was quite difficult. But after he could, he took Ganjar to the event location smoothly.
"It feels really nervous, because this brings Pak Ganjar, really the most important character at this time. In addition, Mr. Ganjar uses an antique car, the steering wheel is left and the manual. So it's both very proud and very proud," he said.
Even though he was constrained, Nitta managed to bring Ganjar to the location of Mabar (Maju Bareng Ganjar) safely. During the short trip, he was able to chat with the person he had wanted to meet for a long time.
"Earlier, I had cramps in my legs when I stepped on the coupling. But I didn't feel anything because next to me was Mr. Ganjar. The pain disappeared immediately. Moreover, I talked about the car," he explained.
In the chat, he explained to Ganjar that the car used to be Fatmawati's. The car was also the car of the Soekarno family that had been boarded.
"This was previously raised by President Soekarno with his family. Pak Ganjar is a presidential candidate. So the meaning is that Pak Ganjar will definitely win," he concluded.
When he arrived at the Vintage Cars Bali Gardens, Ganjar was handsome and happier because he saw many collections of old cars. There are more than 200 ancient cars in that place and the conditions can still be turned on, and have complete letters that are still alive. "Yes, it turns out that this collector is extraordinary.
There were more than 200 ancient cars and all of them were alive, and earlier they had a car that was said to be STNK in the name of Mrs. Fatmawati. It must be very historic," he explained.
From the information he got, the car was produced in 948. Even though he was old, when he got into the car, Ganjar admitted that he felt very comfortable.
"In 1948, you know, imagine how old he is. But amazing, still good and comfortable to ride. I just took a ride, I don't know what it's like to ride," said Ganjar Pranowo.
