Suzuki Officially Releases Third Model In Hybrid Ranks, Suzuki XL7 At Interesting Prices

JAKARTA - The distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Indonesia, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), officially launched an SUV with a hybrid system, namely XL7 Hybrid on Thursday, June 15. This is the third model in the Suzuki lineup to use a hybrid system in Indonesia after Suzuki Ertiga and also Grand Vitara.

Judging from the appearance, the SUV carries a tough and modern concept. has a medium-sized front goal design with a touch of black accent which makes it look newer.

XL7 Hybrid is equipped with environmentally friendly SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle) technology. The technology is paired with the engine in this SUV.

Matsushita Ryohei, as 4W Sales & Marketing Director of Suzuki Indonesia, said that the XL7 Hybrid is a current commitment from Suzuki that seeks to meet the needs of environmentally friendly SUVs to meet the mobility needs of the community.

"As we are currently doing, the New XL7 Hybrid is a manifestation of Suzuki's continuity in contributing to a sustainable world," said Ryohei, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, June 15.

The SHVS technology includes two components, namely the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and lithium-ion batteries which will help the performance of the 1,500 cc engine with the K15B code.

To save on fuel use, XL7 Hybrid is equipped with an auto start-stop engine feature. This is useful so that car users do not waste emissions in vain during the trip.

For driving convenience, Suzuki provides a new autolight with guide feature for me light and a new auto retractable mirror. Suzuki also presents new e-mirror touchscreen, new cruise control, new interior color, new black wood pattern instrument ornaments, and new gear shift indicators.

The XL7 Hybrid comes with three variants, namely Alpha, Beta, and Zeta. In the Alpha variant, this SUV is equipped with New Savanna Ivory, Black, and Snow White Pearl colors. Meanwhile, for the Beta and Zeta variants, it is available in Metallic Magma Gray, Pearl Brave Khaki, Snow White Pearl, and Cool Black colors.

Suzuki provides two transmission options, namely automatic (AT) and manual (MT). The car, which is expected to compete with Honda BR-V, starts at IDR 283 million.
