KPK Clarifies Kadinkes Reihana Governor Of Lampung: I Always Say Be Careful Don't Be Corruption, Don't Show Off Luxury
Lampung Governor Arinal Djunaidi handed over the process and clarification results of the Head of the Lampung Provincial Health Office, Reihana, by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).
"This is not checked, but precisely to confirm his LHKPN. If the KPK comes here immediately, it may be different, but this is him who came to fulfill the KPK's invitation there," said Arinal Djunaidi as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 8.
Arinal said that in all processes that were being carried out regarding one of his subordinates, he fully handed over to the KPK.
"What is clear is that we leave this to the KPK. Therefore, we will see if there are other actions, please," he said.
He explained that currently during the clarification period by the KPK, it is hoped that all parties will not draw preliminary conclusions.
"But we should not take a conclusion that is not yet time, let the process run properly," he added.
He admitted that he often appealed to his subordinates to be careful when using state money and not to get caught in corruption cases.
"I always say be careful using state money to stop corruption. As a leader, I will always teach good things to subordinates, like teachers will continue to try to educate children to be smart and good," he said.
In addition, the Governor of Lampung also responded to the length of his term of office for the Head of the Lampung Province Health Office, Reihana, which was above the reasonable limit, which was 14 years.
"For the 14-year term, it doesn't really matter because there are no provisions such as elections, the point is that the performance is good during the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
In addition, Arinal reasoned that in the Lampung Provincial Government there were no ASN with a similar level of health education, so the qualification of the Reihana Kadiskes was calculated to pass to become the head of the service.
"The time is not much later in September it will be finished (retirement), actually the qualifications in terms of education and management in health are good, because not many have health graduates here. For the wealth problem, it has been rich for a long time, but they have also been reminded not to show luxury while working," he said.
Previously, the Head of the Lampung Provincial Health Office, Reihana, had complied with the KPK's invitation to clarify his LHKPN, after the luxurious life of the head of the office who had served for 14 years was busy on social media and became a public concern.
