Prabowo EMPHASIZED That He Will Not Give Up On The Presidential Election Again Despite Being Ridiculed Repeatedly Losing
YOGYAKARTA - Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto emphasized that he would not give up on running again as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election even though he admitted that he received ridicule for repeatedly losing.
"As you know, I have been nominated by the Greater Indonesia Movement Party to run again in the 2024 presidential election. Some mocked me at that time, how many times have I lost, Prabowo said while at the Grand Reunion and Halalbihalal Purnawirawan at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC), Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 3.
For him, the ridicule was only made by those who did not understand himself as a soldier who did not give up.
"He didn't know that Prabowo Subianto was a red and white fighter. I was educated from day one as a soldier by my coaches, by my seniors in the 45th generation. I was educated not to give up," he said.
As a former TNI soldier, Prabowo admitted that he still adhered to the teachings of the Great Commander General Sudirman to never give up in fighting.
"He taught us not to give up at all, not to give up. Those are the values of 45, brothers. We are taught until our last breath," he said.

In addition, Prabowo also admitted that he still remembers his senior message, namely General TNI (Ret.) Wijoyo Suyono, which emphasized that the struggle of a soldier will only end when it has been heard that before entering the grave.
"So the one who 'tricked' me, I said Prabowo fell, but Prabowo bounced back. There was no surrender in the hearts of a fighter," he said, greeted by the shout "Prabowo President" of the Grand Reunion participants held by Retired Indonesian Fighters Raya (PPIR).
