Morris Garage Showcases MG4 EV And MG ZS EV Electric Cars To Menkomarinves

Morris Garage (MG) showed off the electric cars MG4 EV and MG ZS EV in front of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, at an event in Jakarta, Saturday (29/4), part of the brand's green environment campaign in Indonesia.

Director of Marketing and Public Relations of MG Motor Indonesia, Arief Syarifudin, in a press release, Saturday (29/4) said they were very happy to have the opportunity to introduce their flagship electric vehicle to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment.

"We are pleased that our MG4 EV electric vehicle has received positive attention from the public and the government. We hope that this electric vehicle can make a positive contribution to joint efforts to maintain a clean and healthy environment in Indonesia," Arief said as reported by Antara.

The environmentally friendly vehicles from MG are the company's commitment to assist the government's efforts to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. The Indonesian government has set a program to promote the use of electric vehicles across the country.

In this activity, not only looking at the condition of the vehicle, Luhut also felt that he entered the MG4 EV cabin, the first electric crossover car that MG offered in the Indonesian market.

"To improve air quality and reduce carbon emissions in Indonesia, we support the use of electric vehicles and introduce programs that promote electric vehicles across the country. I think MG with its modern and stylish designs, advanced technology, and competitive prices will be able to control the EV market in Indonesia. very wide," said Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, in the same press release.

Public enthusiasm for electric cars is increasing from year to year. Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), sales of electric cars in 2022 experienced a drastic increase of 383.46 percent compared to 2021.

On that occasion, MG also showcased Rubik's Cube's latest battery technology, an integrated electric drive technology that allows MG4 EV to reach a speed of 100 kilometers/hour in just 7.7 seconds.

In addition, the MG4 EV is also the first car built on the Modular Scalable Platform, which is the technology of the MG to produce higher electrical efficiency.

Not only that, but MG4 EVs are also equipped with V2L (Vehicle to Load) capabilities that can power a variety of daily equipment, eliminating the need for motorists to use other resources to meet their various needs wherever they are.
