Four Manufacturers Recall 17 Thousand Vehicle Units In South Korea

The vehicle withdrawal was carried out in South Korea. General Motors Korea, Honda Motor, Porsche Korea, and Daechang Motor recalled around 17,000 vehicles to repair damaged components.

The four companies withdrew a total of 17,173 units consisting of four different models. This was confirmed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation of South Korea.

Reporting from South Korean media, Yonhap, Tuesday, April 25, the models affected by the recall were 11,454 Chevrolet Bolt units, 5,194 Porsche Panamera units, 443 Danigo models belonging to Daechang Motors, and 72 Honda CB300R motorcycles.

Chevrolet Bolt's recall was caused by damage to the seat belt system. Meanwhile, Porsche Panamera suffered damage to the cooling water pump link.

Daechang Danigo model has a problem with brake pedals, while Honda CB300R motors have the potential for oil leakage caused by damaged crane cover bolts.

Because of this, the affected vehicle owners can visit the service or repair center of each manufacturer and replace damaged components for free.

This withdrawal is not the first time in April in the country of ginseng. Previously, manufacturers such as Honda and Porsche had to withdraw Porsche Cayenne and Honda Accord in early April.

This was followed by three other companies, namely Mercedes-Benz Korea, Ford Korea, and Bike Korea with a total of 23,986 vehicles affected by the recall.
