A Man From South Kalimantan, The Perpetrator Also Cuts His Cousin's Hand Until It Breaks

TANGERANG - Kapolsek Pamulang, Commissioner Fiernando Andriansyah revealed that the perpetrator, B (23), in addition to killing Muhammad Fadli (27), also attacked his nephew, Chairy Auriza, until his left palm was severed. This happened because Chairy tried to intervene in the assault.

"Yes, it's true that Chairy's left palm was severed", said Fiernando when confirmed by VOI, on Monday, April 24th.

Fiernando explained that the victim's hand was severed by a sharp weapon, a machete or a parang, owned by the perpetrator. However, he is not yet aware of the chronology leading up to the attack.

"The weapon was a machete or a parang. For further details, you can ask the investigator because they have the data", he said.

Currently, the victim is still undergoing treatment at the South Tangerang General Hospital for further medical attention. Meanwhile, the perpetrator, B, has been arrested and is being further investigated at the Pamulang Police Station.

"He has been arrested. (Currently) he is still at the police station (Pamulang)", he said.

Chronology According to the Victim's Friend

A man from South Kalimantan named Muhammad Fadli (27) was killed after being allegedly slashed with a sword by a perpetrator identified as B (23).

The victim's friend, Eko Syahputra (28), recounted the incident that took place on Ketapang Street, Pamulang Barat, South Tangerang, on Friday, April 21, at 9:30 p.m.

The incident began when Fadli was relaxing with witnesses Chairy Auriza and Riko at a shop located directly in front of the perpetrator's house, B.

Then, Chairy and Riko intended to go to a minimarket to buy supplies, leaving Fadli alone at the shop.

"After a few minutes, Chai called Fadli, saying that there was a problem with a panicked tone. Chai came back with Riko and when they arrived, Fadli was in an argument with the perpetrator", said Eko when confirmed on Sunday, April 23, in the evening.

"So, the argument started because, before that, someone on a motorcycle, whose identity is unknown, was making noise in front of B's house. Then B confronted Fadli, but Fadli said, 'if there is a problem with my friend, tell them, not me.' That's the gist of it", he continued.

Long story short, the argument between them continued until Chairy and Riko arrived at the scene. They immediately intervened to prevent a fight.

After being separated, B eventually went into his house. Apparently, he took a sharp weapon, a katana or a sword, and immediately attacked Fadli.

"Finally, B went into the house. Suddenly he came out with a katana or sword and hit Fadli's head. Fadli fell. Chai reflexively tried to intervene. She used her left hand to hold him back, but B also slashed again, which resulted in Chairy's left wrist being severed", he said.

After severing Chairy's left wrist, who is also B's cousin, according to Eko, the perpetrator continued to attack Fadli, who was already helpless. He even stabbed him 3-5 times.

Riko, who was also present at the scene, asked for help from the residents and took Chairy to the South Tangerang General Hospital.

"At the scene, Fadli was already dead in front of the door. There were police officers there, around 10 p.m. They were taken away by
