Wey Gaoshan, Alphard's Imitator From China
JAKARTA - Following Maxus Mifa 9 and Denza D9, there is an automotive brand from China that produces a model similar to Alphard's luxury MPV, namely Wey with Gaoshan's model.
Wey is a sub-brand of Great Wall Motor. One of its newest models is Wey Gaoshan. This car is at first glance very similar to Toyota's MPV, Alphard.
Wey Gaoshan has a wide diameter, with a length of 5,045 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, a height of 1,900 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,085 mm which is wider when compared to Alphard, reported by Carnewschina, Thursday, April 13.
This luxury MPV car contains seven seats. The tires that are pinned are 245/50 R18, and have a room behind the third row of seats with an area of 340 mm. The space is quite wide for the new MPV.
In terms of exteriors, at first glance it is very similar to the luxury car from Japan. However, the difference lies in the grip section with Gaoshan carrying a fresh grip, while Alphard uses a plaid grip.
Although this is a mock form of Alphard, in terms of performance can be pitted. Wey Gaoshan carries plug-in hybrid technology with a 1.5 liter fuel engine measuring 156 dk. However, the manufacturer has not provided details about its electric motor.
For batteries, Wey Gaoshan uses NMC batteries from SVOLT with a capacity of 37.96 kWh which is claimed to be able to cover a distance of 150 km in one charge.
Wey Gaoshan is not the first car to be produced. Previously, Wall Motor produced an SUV with a Wey sub-brand under the name Wey Lanshan which had undergone design revisions.
