Hyundai Will Accelerate Waiting Period For IONIQ 5

JAKARTA - To speed up an indent period on IONIQ 5 cars, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) added a production quantity of 1,000 units in one month.

According to the President Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia, Woojune Cha, with the addition of monthly production for the IONIQ 5 model, the waiting period for the vehicle will also be faster.

"In recent times, IONIQ 5 has continued to be a model of Hyundai vehicles that have received high interest from consumers. Therefore, to answer market demand better, HMID will supply more units of IONIQ 5 which has become one of the most popular electric vehicles in Indonesia today." said Woojune Cha in his official statement, Sunday, April 16, 2023.

Public enthusiasm in welcoming electric vehicles is certainly quite large. This is also supported by the government by providing subsidies for electric vehicles that reach 40 percent TKDN.

Because of this, HMID gave directions to all representatives of the Hyundai dealers to implement comprehensive incentives for regions throughout Indonesia.

Woojune Cha also expressed his gratitude to the government in advancing the ecosystem for using Electric Vehicle (EV), which is also in line with Hyundai's vision of encouraging electrification in Indonesia.

"We thank the government for continuing its efforts to advance the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in a sustainable manner. With the common vision of the government and Hyundai in encouraging the electrification era in the Indonesian automotive industry, Hyundai is ready to support the implementation of tax incentive policies which are expected to create a broad positive impact on industrial progress," said Cha.

In addition, Hyundai has also added facilities to support the development of electric vehicles in Indonesia through Mobile Charging services that are available in various regions in Indonesia.

PT HMID also makes it easier for Hyundai electric vehicle users with a basic warranty of 3 years or reaching 100,000 km and battery guarantees for 8 years or 160,000 km.
