Auctioned, LFA Lexus Can Be Sold For More Than IDR 10 Billion
JAKARTA - During its production period (December 2010 December 2012), Lexus only produced 500 LFA flagship sportscars with all of them produced in Japan. One of the auction websites, Bring a Trailer will auction one of these cars.
The LFA Lexus to be auctioned is the 173rd of the 500 units ever produced. This car was owned until 2022 which has been driven 6,276 km since it was purchased, reported by Carscoops, Monday, April 10.
The LFA being auctioned has a striking red color like a new car. Even though it has been owned for a long time by the owner, there has been no change in any part of the car, especially the engine.
The LFA Lexus is equipped with a 4.8 liter NA V10 engine capable of emitting a large amount of power with 552 dk and 480 Nm torque which is paired with a single-coupling transmission of Aisin six accelerations with a rear-wheel drive system. Not only does it offer extraordinary performance, the car also produces machine sound.
Although it has a well-respected design and engine, its own interior is quite standard. On the seat, door panel, and dashboard are covered in black skin by adding a red seam color and a slightly aesthetic red seat that adds to the inside. The interior is equipped with a 12-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, a metallic trim, and a Bluetooth link.
The auction period will end in the future. There is also the possibility that the price offered will be increased, especially since this car has its own value in the world of sportscars.
Previously, an auction house in England, RM Sotheby had also auctioned a car in the same color. At that time, the LFA Lexus was sold to the highest bidder of 675,000 US dollars or around Rp. 10 billion.
