BNI Continues Expansion, Aims For Indonesian Diaspora In Singapore To Develop Business

BNI Singapore Branch's Acting General Manager Yuli said that so far the company has often supported entrepreneurs from the country to start a business or expand into the country.
"If there are people who want to open companies or representatives here, usually we help introduce them to our clients so that they can open companies in Singapore," he said in a written statement on Friday, April 7.
According to Yuli, BNI is committed to only providing financing to Indonesian people who have businesses in the Lion Country.
"We are also open to local residents who have trade relations with Indonesian export-importers," he said.
Yuli explained that BNI Singapore Branch has been established since October 14, 1955 and is the only state-owned bank that has a Full-Bank license in Singapore.
In addition to opening remittance services, BNI Singapore Branch also serves checking accounts and deposits, syndicated credit or commercial loans, hospital guarantees, credit facilities to trade financing.
"In addition, the existence of this state-owned bank is also aimed at supporting business people from the country to develop and penetrate the Singapore market," said Yuli.
For information, in the 2022 BNI Singapore Branch managed to record a net profit of 26.6 million US dollars. This figure grew 243.76 percent year on year (yoy) compared to the previous period.
Meanwhile, last year's credit disbursement position touched USD 1.1 billion and also boosted the value of branch assets to USD 1.65 billion, an increase of 22.7 percent yoy.
