MultiVersus Officially Removed From Online Storefront, Players Can No Longer Buy Games
JAKARTA - In accordance with its announcement last week, MultiVersus from the first Games Player developer has now been removed from the online storefront. Game owners can still download games, but they can't be bought anymore.
The open beta version of MultiVersus will soon go offline on June 25, so enjoy it now while it's still possible.
Since its launch in July 2022, MultiVersus has managed to gather more than tens of players simultaneously on the first day only through Steam.
Furthermore, this game also successfully passed 10 million players in just two weeks and 20 million in less than a month since its launch.
However, due to the discovery of various bugs, XP was duplicated for Mastery Track levels 3 to 15, and other unpopular changes, the number of players decreased.
For this reason, the Player First finally put a stop to MultiVersus' open beta and focused on full launch in early 2024.
According to existing records, the full launch of MultiVersus will provide many improvements such as updating netcodes, changing development systems and much more.
Although online modes and features will not be available, local labs and matches are still accessible, with the progress brought to full release.
Furthermore, Battle Pass Season 2 will end on June 25, with daily missions available on the same day. However, Weekly Seasonal Achievements will not be fresh after March 31.
