Photos Of Paul McCartney's Langka Beatlemania Shown At The National Portrait Gallery

JAKARTA - New photos of The Beatles immortalized by Paul McCartney, taken at the peak of 'Beatlemania', were unveiled at London's National Portrait Gallery.

From June 28 to October 1 this year, the reopening of the gallery will feature 250 photos of Paul's colleagues and on the 1963-64 tour.

Photos of Paul McCartney 1963-64: Eyes Of The Storm will show what 'Beathemania' looks like from the Pentax camera belonging to the bassist and singer.

The companion's photobook, titled 1964: Eyes Of The Storm, will be released on June 13 throughTEN Press.

Speaking introductory to the book, McCartney said of the period: "It feels like millions of eyes are suddenly on us, creating a picture I will never forget for the rest of my life."

About his love for photography, he added: Actually I've always been interested in photography, since I was very young, when our family had a small box camera in the 1950s.

I used to love the whole process of loading the Kodak film roller into our Brownie camera.
