COVID-19 Update As Of March 25: 436 People Confirmed Positive

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 16,505 specimens were examined with the results of 436 people confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,743,607 people," the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Saturday, March 25.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 319 cases, bringing the total to 6,578,261 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died 9 and a total of 160,994 people.

Still referring to data from the Ministry of Health, the province with the highest new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 173 cases. So that the total reached 1,545,337 cases.

Followed by West Java with 108 new cases. Then, East Java with 53 cases and Banten with the addition of 43 cases per day.

Then, for the province with the most recovered cases, namely West Java with 132 cases. Then, DKI Jakarta with 87 cases.

On the other hand, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens to date has reached 115,841,718.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people for today is 3.59 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 1,141 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 203,820,924 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,850,112 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 68,606,810 people. Then, around 3,060,600 people have received the fourth dose. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
