Three Ford Cars Hit Recall With Three Different Cases

JAKARTA - Ford is back on their car recall. This time, the car manufacturer from the United States recalled 5,000 vehicles with three different problems.

The models affected by the recall process are the 2021 Bronco production, the 2022 F-53 and F-59 output models, and the 2023 Mavericks. Of the total 5,011 vehicles affected by the withdrawal, the F-53 and F-59 models were withdrawn as many as 644 units.

As reported by Carscoops, Monday, March 20, the recall on F-53 and F-59 was likely caused by loose rear brake timesper bolts. Thus, the bolts need to be tightened. Ford will send a notification letter on April 10.

Other vehicles affected by the recall process are the Bronco for the production years 2021 and 2022. The cause of the recall on the model is an error in the 8-inch SYNC infotainment system which often shows images on the rear camera even though the driver is not turning back his car.

Ford will handle it by bringing Bronco to the dealers, then the software on the vehicles will be updated soon. A recall letter has been submitted to the United States Highway Safety Agency (NHTSA) in which notices must be sent to car owners no later than May 1.

The recall process with the highest number of units, namely the 2023 Mavericks model as many as 2,716 trucks. The car requires additional electric circuits on a series of engine room cables, which can cause the back light of the trailer to not turn on.

Different from the other two cases, Ford will send a notification letter to the car owner earlier, namely March 27.
