"At the Karet Bivak TPU, grave pilgrims reached 22,700 people from Saturday, March 11 to Tuesday, March 21," said Head of the Central Jakarta City Parks and Forests Sub-department (Sudin) Mila Ananda to VOI, Wednesday, March 22.
Furthermore, pilgrims at the West Pasar Karet TPU reached 13,000 people. Meanwhile, there are around 12,500 grave pilgrims at the Kawi-kawi Johar Baru TPU.
"The most nightly pilgrimages are the Tanah Abang Karet Bivak TPU," he said.
Mila appealed to pilgrims who came to the tomb to the TPU area to help maintain the cleanliness of the tomb area and maintain order in accordance with applicable regulations.
"We hope that people who make pilgrimages can maintain order and cleanliness. After all, there is an adab that regulates how we behave during pilgrimages and treats tombs, including not damaging and maintaining cleanliness. We have also done an appeal through officers," he explained.
