Update COVID-19 March 21: 473 New Cases, 149 Active Cases
JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 21,965 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 473 new positive cases of COVID-19.

Today's recovered cases increased by 322 people, bringing a total of 6,577,275 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 2 cases and a total of 160,977 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 202 cases and a total of 1,544,645 cases. Followed by West Java which has 107 new cases with a total of 1,237,864 cases. Banten has 51 new cases and a total of 366,996 cases. East Java has 41 new cases and a total of 638,611 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 108 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 104 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 33 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 30 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 115,785,290.
"The positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 2.36 percent," he wrote.
The number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases is recorded at 1,308 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had COVID-19 cases.
