JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that only half of the number of legislators at the center and regions submitted the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN). The deadline for this reporting is March 31.
"In the legislative ranks both at the central and regional levels, from 20,078 mandatory reports, 10,348 have submitted or 52 percent," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Prevention Ipi Maryati told reporters in a written statement, Saturday, March 18.
Meanwhile, from the judicial ranks, continued Ipi, those who had reported their wealth reached 18,095 obliged to report from 18,648. "Or 97 percent," he said.
Next, for the executive staff who have submitted their LHKPN, it reaches 84 percent or 243,307 of the 291,360 must report.
"Then the BUMN/BUMD ranks out of a total of 42,697 are required to report a total of 30,683 have reported their LHKPN, or 72 percent," explained Ipi.
With this data, there are still 70,350 or 19 percent of officials who are required to report their assets who have not done so. The KPK asked them to report immediately.
Ipi said that reporting can be done online through the e-LHKPN website. "KPK reminds state administrators or are obliged to report those who have not submitted their LHKPN," he said.
"LHKPN in the context of preventing corruption is an instrument to encourage transparency for state officials for their property ownership," concluded Ipi.
