During The Holy Month Of Ramadan, THM In Batam Stopped Operating Only 7 Days

BATAM - Night entertainment venues (THM) in Batam City, Riau Islands are closed for only 7 days during the month of Ramadan 1444 Hijri. In the near future, his party will immediately prepare a notification letter to be circulated to THM business actors.

Head of the Batam City Culture and Tourism Office Ardiwinata said the closing time of THM's operation used a 3-2-3 pattern during the holy month of Ramadan, which is estimated to fall on March 23.

"Our proposal is still to use the previous pattern, namely 3-2-3. Agree with the pattern of 3 days at the beginning of Ramadan, then 2 days in the middle of Ramadan, and 3 days at the end of Ramadan. Because in the middle of Nuzulul Qur'an activities," said Ardiwinata as quoted by ANTARA, Friday 17 March.

He added that in the near future his party will immediately prepare a notification letter to be circulated to THM business actors.

He hopes that THM business actors in Batam City can comply with these rules because the joint team will go to the location to monitor during the month of Ramadan.

"During fasting we respect each other. We hope that this regulation can be obeyed by THM in Batam. Because there is a joint team that takes to the field," he said.

Meanwhile, Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi also ensured a number of readinesss to welcome Ramadan by holding a meeting with the Batam City Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).

He conveyed a number of agendas discussed, including hearings on disease prevention by the Batam Port Health Office (KKP), security during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr by the Barelang Police.

"Regarding the transportation of homecoming flows, the Department of Transportation conveyed it. Then basic needs during Ramadan and holidays as well as market operations by Disperindag," said Rudi.

In addition, the meeting forum also discusses the supervision of the provision or distribution of holiday allowances (THR) to company employees by the Manpower Service.
