Personnel Affected By COVID-19, Saosin Replaced With Knosis At Hammersonic Festival 2023
JAKARTA - The Hammersonic Festival 2023 announced the dose as a substitute for Saosin, which will fail to appear on March 19.
The organizers conveyed the news through Instagram social media.
"He swung back and went straight to the fire!" he said.
"Former Crystal Lake, Ryo Kinoshita will come to Hammersonic 2023 with a new experimental metalcore project called KNOSIS.
"I'm glad he's back!" he closed.
Responding to the news, Saosin shared the reason they failed to appear on Hammersomic, as well as via Instagram.
"To our fans in Southeast Asia: In our 20 years as a band, we only had to cancel two shows, but when we flew from Adelaide to Perth, we knew we would not be able to continue the rest of the tour to Asia. Fatigue, both physically and mentally, coupled with heavy C-19 diagnosiss with key members made us have no choice but to reschedule our entire SE ASIA tour," he said.
"We performed a show that we know deserves our fans, and for us, it will not be possible in our current state. Sorry for the uncomfortable, we will come back," he said.
"The refund will be available to all requests. We are working on a new date to be announced soon," he added.
