Suzuki RG125E, Jadul Motor Who Is Suspected Of Being RX-King

JAKARTA - The public must have known Yamaha RX-King, one of the legendary motorbikes that was famous with a 2-tok engine with a violent exhaust sound.

However, it is not only Yamaha that has produced a sport naked motorbike with this box design. There is Suzuki who once made a motorcycle with the same design as RX-King.

The Suzuki motorbike is RG125E, which was introduced in 1980 in Japan. Which means, the bike is three years older than RX-King.

RG1225E is the next generation of the previous model RG125. Based on the Suzuki.co.jp website, the Suzuki RG125E is equipped with a 125 cc engine with a style renewal combined with a lightweight semi-double frame.

Can be seen with the naked eye, Suzuki RG125E is very similar to RX-King. Starting from the design of the headlights, sein lights to the speedometer that resembles the legendary motor.

The rearview mirror design is also still typical of retro with an elongated round shape so it looks less integrated with the motorcycle design.

For engine specifications, the Suzuki RG125E carries 124 cc 2-tin 2-cylinder parallels with air conditioning and five-speed manual transmission which can emit 15.7 dk with 12.7 Nm torque. Of course, the resulting power is slightly superior to the RX-king with 14 dk.

At that time, the Suzuki RG125E was sold at a price of 215,000 Yen or around Rp. 24.6 million.
