Minister Of Industry Targets Transactions Of IDR 250 Trillion In Business Matching Domestic Products 2023

The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) targets the realization of transactions to reach IDR 250 trillion in the implementation of Business Matching Domestic Products 2023 which will be held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on March 15-17, 2023.

"We want to convey that the output of this three-day Business Matching activity is our realization target of IDR 250 trillion. That is a realization, not a commitment," said Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita in Business Matching Domestic Products in Jakarta, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Minister of Industry Agus said that the fifth phase of the Business Matching activity would be attended by around 4,000 participants, consisting of representatives of ministries, institutions, local governments, industrial companies, business entities, and associations.

It is known that Business Matching in 2022 has been carried out in four stages, which in phase I is carried out by the Ministry of Industry and resulted in a commitment of IDR 214.1 trillion. Next, it will be continued in phase II carried out by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs & Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, stage III carried out by the Ministry of PUPR and the Ministry of Health, and stage IV carried out by the Indonesian National Police (Polri).

"This year, the Ministry of Defense together with the Ministry of Industry held the fifth phase of the PDN Business Matching (V) which was packaged with the concept of One Stop Event," said Minister of Industry Agus.

The One Stop Event concept consists of Desk Business Matching, with participants consisting of the Satker Commitment Making Officer (PPK), industry associations, upstream-downstream producers, and providers will sit on every desk that has been provided alternately to conduct business meetings. The result of the desk is a transaction to purchase PDN by government agencies.

Agus said that this year's Business Matching will also award the P3DN in 2023, which will be submitted to the ministry category with the 10 largest budgets, provincial governments, district/city governments, and SOEs.

The P3DN Team Communication Forum, which is ready to bring together the P3DN Team nationally to discuss in general the work programs and challenges faced.

There are also other facilities at the event, such as the Consultation Corner for activity participants who need technical explanations related to the implementation of planning, procurement, supervision, TKDN certification, TKDN IK certification, or other consultations.

"There are also talk shows and technical guidance throughout the implementation of Business Matching to support the implementation of P3DN," Agus explained.

With this activity, Agus hopes that the rules for using domestic products and the ability of local production results in the procurement of government goods/services can be realized.

"We believe that this Business Matching event has a large contribution in building this optimism, this shows the government's alignment with the business climate and the performance of the national industry," he added.
