LHKPN 2018 IDR 62.6 Billion, Now Subang Regent Admits His Wealth Drops IDR 10 Billion

JABAR - Regent Subang Ruhimat claims his assets have fallen to Rp10.5 billion. He admitted that his assets fell after serving as Regent of Subang, West Java (West Java).

"Yes, it is true that there has been a decline, because there was land sales in my first year in office," said the Regent in Subang, Wednesday, March 15, quoted by Antara.

The answer was in response to documents on the LHKPN KPK website regarding the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) on behalf of Ruhimat, in 2018, with the total assets of Rp62.6 billion.

This asset is known from his report when he nominated the Subang Regent in the 2018 Subang Pilkada.

After being elected and inaugurated as Regent of Subang on 19 December 2018, in LHKPN in 2021, his property fell to IDR 52.07 billion.

So during his time as Regent of Subang there was a decrease in assets of Rp. 10.5 billion.

"Frankly, I sell the land to pay my debts. Because during the Pilkada, all of our own costs were spent," he said.

He decided to sell his land, because at that time he and his family had pledged to donate some of their assets in the struggle to build their homeland, Subang.

The decrease in the amount of assets, apart from the sale of land, there was also a movement of assets, in the form of vehicles. Because it turns out that at the LHKPN during the nomination period, there were vehicles belonging to the company that were registered, namely vehicles in the form of dump trucks.

"When it was an urgent condition, so what I remember was it was recorded. It turned out that after being re-checked, there was an inventory of the company that entered the LHKPN," he said.

When asked if there was any regret when he served as regent, his wealth decreased, Ruhimat admitted that he had absolutely no regrets.

"In fact, I am grateful. Because when sincere in issuing it, I believe it is precisely what we sacrificed for Subang's progress," he said.

"If I'm not asked like that, frankly I'm lazy to answer it. Because I'm afraid to be called riya and arrogant. But because I was asked to cook, I had to be silent," he said.
