Be The First! Chelsea Holds Iftar Together At Stamford Bridge Stadium

JAKARTA - Welcoming the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, the English club, Chelsea conveyed good news for their Muslim fans. They will hold a breaking of the fast together at Stamford Bridge Stadium.

Reporting from the club's official website, the iftar activity will be held on Sunday, March 26. The invitation was intended by the club for all mosque worshipers in London, Muslim fans and students.

The Chelsea Foundation will hold a joint breaking of the fast on the Stamford Bridge side of the field on Sunday, March 26. This will be a first for Premier League clubs and stadiums," the Blues wrote in a statement.

According to that statement, the Blues became the First Premier League club to hold a iftar event together. This event itself was carried out thanks to the collaboration with the award-holder charity which was founded in 2013.

The charity aims to introduce an understanding of Ramadan.

Chelsea's head of the foundation, Simon Taylor, said he was proud that Chelsea could become the first Premier League club to hold a Ramadan agenda, especially breaking the fast together. He was also enthusiastic about organizing the agenda.

"I am pleased to announce our iftar event initiated with the Tent Project and we are very proud to be the first Premier League club to do so," said Simon Taylor.

"Recognizing Ramadan and the Muslim community is an important aspect of our work in promoting religious tolerance and I look forward to welcoming everyone on Sunday 26 March," he said.
