JAKARTA - Bassis System Of A Down, Shavo Odadjian mengonfirmasi album solo debutnya sudah memasuki tahap akhir kerjaan.

The 48-year-old Armenian-American musician is working on a full album with Winds Of Plague guitarist Michael Montoya (alias. MorgothBeatz) - producer and songwriter who has previously collaborated with Travis Barker, JuiceWrld, Lil Xan, Jonathan Davis, Issues and many more.

Shavo talked about his solo album while taking part in Jonathan Montenegro's "My 3 Questions To" series.

"I will be releasing a solo album in the near future. This album is hard. Not hip-hop. This album is crazy. All of my side projects are like hip-happy or electro... I wanted to do something that felt right for me from the start in a career in music. This is my DNA. So, just wait for my solo album. "

Odadjian also shared a piece of solo music he worked on through his social media.

"After years of experimenting with different styles and genres for my side projects, I decided to come back to my roots and make hard solo recordings. I worked hard writing and recording it with my brother @morgothbeatz for a few months. Here's a small snippet of what's to come. Who wants to hear more about this?" he wrote in his statement.
