Polda Metro Jaya Prepares 1,022 Security Personnel For The Second Day Of The Blackpink Concert
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has prepared 1,022 personnel to secure the concert of the female vocal group from South Korea, BLACKPINK, at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) on Sunday or the last day.
"A total of 1,022 BLACKPINK concert security personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Sunday.
The thousands of personnel are a combination of various elements consisting of 932 Polda Metro Jaya personnel and the Central Jakarta Metro Police, 30 TNI personnel, and 60 personnel from the regional government.
At the same time, the Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya asked the public to avoid Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Gatot Subroto, and Jalan Gerbang Pemuda to prevent traffic congestion.
"Avoid going around GBK at 13.00-23.00 WIB," according to a written statement on Instagram @TMCPoldaMetro on Sunday.
In addition, Ditlantas also appealed to BLACKPINK concert audiences to take public transportation, such as KRL, MRT, to TransJakarta.
Previously, it was reported that the K-Pop BLACKPINK group, which consists of Lisa, Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo, was ready to greet their fans, who are usually called BLINK, in Jakarta by holding a concert at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK).
The concert is part of the "BLACKPINK WorldTour (BornPink)" which began at KSPO Dome Olympic Park, South Korea, on 15-16 October 2022 and continues to various countries.
In Jakarta, BLACKPINK's concert was promoted by Indonesian iME and held two days, namely Saturday (11/3) and Sunday (12/3).
