Aceh Prosecutor's Office Needs 4 Years Less To Arrest Fugitives In Traffic Accident Cases
The Aceh High Prosecutor's (Kejati) arrest team arrested a fugitive who has been on the wanted list (DPO) in a traffic accident since 2018.Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the Aceh Attorney General's Office, Ali Rasa Lubis, said the fugitive on behalf of Irfan Andika was the DPO of the Lhokseumawe District Attorney."Irfan Andika is a defendant in a traffic accident. He has never attended a trial at the Lhokseumawe District Court after being repeatedly summoned by the public prosecutor in 2018," said Ali Rasab Lubis in Banda Aceh, Antara, Friday, March 10.Ali Rasab Lubis said that the arrest of the fugitive began with information from the public that Irfan Andika was hiding in Gampong Beusa Seubrang, Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency.Armed with this information, said Ali Rasab Lubis, the Aceh Attorney General's Office's Tabur Team (Arrest Fugitives) moved to the village to investigate. After confirming the information, the team arrested the fugitive."DPO on behalf of Irfan Andika was arrested in Gampong Beusa Seubrang, Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency, on Thursday at around 15:13 WIB. Furthermore, the DPO was handed over to the Lhokseumawe Kejari," said Ali Rasab Lubis.Ali Rasab Lubis said that the arrest of the fugitive was directly led by the Aceh Attorney General's Intelligence Assistant, Mukhzan."For fugitives or DPOs who are still on the loose, with the awareness to immediately surrender to the prosecutor's office. There is no place to hide, sooner or later they will be caught," said Ali Rasab Lubis.
