Owners Go To Prayer, Delman Parked Lost And Stolen By Father And Son In Semarang
SEMARANG - Police arrested a father and son in Semarang City, Central Java, the perpetrator of the theft of a wagon and a horse that occurred on March 3, 2023.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Semarang Polrestabes AKBP Donny Lumbantoruan said the perpetrator stole a wagon and a horse when the owner performed Friday prayers.
The two suspects who were arrested were DS (41) and YS (18) residents of Wonodri, South Semarang.
He explained that the incident began when YS saw a wagon parked on Kridaga Street, Rejosari, East Semarang.
"The child told his father that he wanted to have a horse pet," said Donny, Friday, March 10.
Delman and his horse, he continued, were taken to be taken to the Gunungpati area, Semarang City.
"The father actually banned it, but then it was still taken," he added.
The two perpetrators, he continued, were arrested while they were in the vicinity of the Ship Mosque tourist attraction in the Mijen District area.
He said the disclosure began with public reports about the existence of wagons and horses in accordance with the characteristics in the loss report.
The two perpetrators were then charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code regarding theft.
