Indonesia Targets IDR 14 Trillion Investment In Hannover Messe 2023

JAKARTA - Indonesia was re-elected as partner country or partner country in the international industrial trade show Hannover Messe 2023. The trade show will take place in Germany, on April 17-21.

Regarding the implementation of the event, the Director General of Resilience, Region, and International Industrial Access (KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) Eko SA Cahyanto said that Indonesia is targeting the investment value that goes into the country of around Rp. 14 trillion.

"We have conveyed that in press briefings, we can get approximately 100 times the target number (investment) we can get from the costs we spent (Rp140 billion)," Eko told reporters at the Ministry of Industry Building, Wednesday, March 8.

Even so, Eko has not been able to confirm when the realization of the investment can be achieved. "Usually not directly in one year, there is a process until its realization. Later, we will make sure the investment target is realized," he said.

In 2021, Hannover Messe will be conducted online. On this occasion, Indonesia succeeded in realizing investment in the cooperation of the German aircraft component manufacturer, Toolcraft with PT Yogya Presisi Teknikatama Industri (PT YPTI).

"This Toolcraft is one of the companies in Germany that leads the production of components that are very special in nature, and they are very well known in the world. Currently, the construction of the factory may be being built in Jogja, in the Sleman area," concluded Eko.

For your information, Hannover Messe is the largest industrial exhibition in the world which is held annually in the city of Hannover, Germany. The average number of visitors who attended was 225,000 people and was attended by large companies from around the world.

In the event, Indonesia plans to bring in around 157 exhibitions.
