BMKG Predicts Majority Of Major Cities Will Be Showered With Light And Moderate Rain

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the majority of major cities in Indonesia will experience light to moderate rain on Sunday.

Reported by Antara from the www.bmkg.go.id page in Jakarta, light rain flushed a number of cities in Sumatra such as Banda Aceh, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Padang, and Tanjungpinang.

BMKG appealed to the people in Jambi City to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning.

Cloudy weather forecasts are reported to have the opportunity to occur in Java, including Serang and Semarang.

Opportunities for light rain are predicted to flush DKI Jakarta, while rain is in Bandung and Yogyakarta. Beware of rain accompanied by lightning in Surabaya.

For the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions, light rain is predicted in Mataram, as well as moderate-intensity rain in Denpasar and Kupang.

For Kalimantan, it is predicted to be foggy in Pontianak and Tanjung Selor. Light rain in Palangka Raya and Banjarmasin.
