Google Wallet Now Available In 60 Countries, Indonesia Is Not On The List!

JAKARTA - Google Wallet for WearOS is now extended to 60 countries. In addition to storing credit card and debit information, this digital payment service can also store certificates and user IDs or IDs.

The tech giant launched Wallet as a new version and a better version of its payment app at the I/O annual developer conference in May last year.

Still known as Google Pay or GPay in several markets, this new solution accommodates all digital goods that users want to safely store on their cellphones.

In addition to storing credit card and debit information to make quick payments, this application also functions as a storage center for certificates and IDs.

Users can save SIMs, event tickets, flight boarding passes, transit cards, loyalty cards, digital car keys, vaccine cards, and others on Wallet.

Google Wallet support for WearOS-powered wearable devices, such as Pixel Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch. If you have a watch running Wear OS 2, users can connect it with an Android or iPhone phone.

But not for Wear OS 3 devices, its support is limited to Android alone. In some markets, Wallet payments are also only supported via mobile phones and not smartwatches.

Meanwhile, in several other markets, users can also use Google Wallet on Fitbit devices. This application is very useful if users want to go to the nearest supermarket, as quoted from Android Headline, Thursday, March 2.

However, users must first ensure that the store can accept payments with Google Wallet or at least contactless payments.

Unfortunately, Indonesia is still not included in the list of 60 countries. The countries that include the expansion of Google Wallet include Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungry, Iceland and Ireland.

Then, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Great Britain and the outermost regions, the United States and the outermost regions, as well as Vietnam.
