PDIP Proposes 2 Conditions To Support Formula E 2023, One Of Which Is Accountability For The Implementation Of 2022
JAKARTA - The planning for the 2023 Formula E event continues. Finally, PT Jakarta Propertindo as the organizer of the DKI BUMD has determined the composition of the committee, either the Steering Committee (SC) or the Steering Committee (SC) to the Organizing Committee (OC) or the Implementing Committee.
Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gembong Warsono, admitted that his party supports this second year's electric car race. However, there are conditions for support from the PDIP faction in DKI.
"In this second phase of Formula E, the PDIP faction provides support if, one, the responsibility for the first phase of Formula E is carried out first. Second, the second stage of Formula E does not use the APBD," said Gembong when contacted, Thursday, March 2.
When the 2022 Formula E planning took place, where Anies Baswedan was still the Governor of DKI Jakarta, PDIP was keen to ask Anies for Anies' responsibility for transparency in the use of the Formula E budget.
PDIP has also submitted a proposal for the right of interpellation. If the interpellation is realized, the DKI Provincial Government must openly explain the feasibility study of the Formula E race, the total cost of expenditure, and the benefits.
Given, in Anies' leadership, the DKI Provincial Government has disbursed IDR 560 billion from the DKI Regional Budget for the payment of the commitment fee. PDIP, said Gembong, is pursuing the transparency of the budget.
"The accountability report is conveyed first, please. That's the APBD, you know. Jakarta's people's money. So, the first phase of Formula E report is what we use as an evaluation to organize the second phase," said Gembong.
Then, at this year's Jakarta E-Prix event, the DKI Provincial Government has confirmed that Formula E will be held with a business to business scheme between Jakpro and its partners.
However, Gembong reminded that there should be no budget smuggled into regional work units (SKPD) to support the implementation of the race.
"We want the DKI Jakarta and Jakpro Provincial Governments to be warned, there should be no budget allocation from the APBD that is attached to the SKPD for Formula E. Right, you could say for safety he attaches to the Satpol PP, for example. For publication, for example at the Kominfo Service. That's not allowed," he said.
