5 RTs And 3 Roads In West Jakarta Have Been Submerged By Floods Due To Rain Since Yesterday

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded that 3 roads were inundated and 5 RTs were flooded in West Jakarta (Jakbar) as of 11.00 WIB, Thursday, March 2.

This condition was caused by rain with moderate to heavy intensity that hit most of DKI Jakarta since Wednesday, March 1.

"BPBD noted that the inundation currently occurs in 5 RT or 0.016 percent of the 30,470 RT and 3 inundated roads in the DKI Jakarta area," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji in his statement, Thursday, March 2.

Currently, the DKI Jakarta BPBD is deploying personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate elements of the Natural Resources Service, Highways Office, Gulkarmat Service to carry out inundation suction and ensure water lines function properly together with the local village heads and sub-district heads.

"The inundation is targeted to recede in a short time. BPBD DKI urges the public to remain careful and alert to potential inundation," said Isnawa.

1. Kamal Raya Street, Kel. Tegal Alur, Kec. Kalideres Water Level : 20 cm2. Jalan Prepedan Raya RT 001 RW 013, Kel. Tegal Alur Kec. Kalideres Water Level: 30 cm3. Jalan Menceng Raya, in front of SDN 02 Tegal Alur, Kel. Tegal Alur, Kec. Kalideres Water Level: 30 cm
