Many Harley Davidsons Sold After Rafael Alun's Wealth Revealed, KPK: We Observe
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that it will observe the number of luxury vehicles, including the Harley Davidson motorbike being sold. This phenomenon emerged after the assets of former Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) official Rafael Alun Trisambodo were revealed and became a public spotlight.
"Yes, of course, we will definitely observe if there is a name," said Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the KPK Pahala Nainggolan in a KPK RI YouTube broadcast, Thursday, March 2.
Pahala said the Harley Davidson seller had been traced by the KPK. They will submit the existing list to the Ministry of Finance for follow-up.
The handover was carried out because it was suspected that those who made the sale were ministry employees led by Sri Mulyani. "We transport the names of the sellers to the Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance," he said.
"These are the names of whose employees are, we suspect this is an employee of the Director General of Taxes," continued Pahala.
Even so, Pahala did not want to speculate that the sale would occur after Rafael's wealth was revealed. However, he confirmed that the report would be submitted.
"There is no employee name. It could not be (employee, red) taxes. It could be his wife, children, I don't know," he said.
Previously, the KPK had clarified former Ministry of Finance official Rafael Alun Trisambodo on Wednesday, March 1. This examination was carried out because his assets of up to Rp56 billion were revealed to the public.
This emergence was due to a case of abuse involving Rafael's son, Mario Dandi Satrio. As a result of his actions, David Ozora, who was a victim of the action, suffered a serious head injury and was treated at Mayapada Hospital, Kuningan, Jakarta.
In the clarification process, the KPK investigated Rafael's assets. Among them, housing owned by his wife in North Minahasa and a house in Yogyakarta.
It didn't stop there, Mario's Rubicon car, which is often exhibited, was also investigated by the KPK. Likewise with Harley Davidson, which turns out to have no license plate.
