Some Of The Patients At The Nagan Raya Aceh Hospital Were Evacuated Due To The Roboh Ceiling
The management of the Sultan Iskandar Muda Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Nagan Raya, Aceh Province, evacuated a number of patients in the Poly Paru room after the ceiling in the room collapsed on Monday morning at around 05.30 WIB."There were no casualties in this disaster," said Head of Administration at Sultan Iskandar Muda Hospital, Nagan Raya, Aceh, Shiddiqi Abdurrahman when confirmed by ANTARA, Monday, February 27 afternoon.Some of the patients in the treatment room have been evacuated to the hospital corridor to avoid unwanted things.According to information obtained, at the time of the incident a number of the patient's family and patients who were receiving medical treatment in the Paru Ward room, Sultan Iskandar Muda Hospital panicked after the ceiling of the hospital collapsed.The incident occurred while the patient was resting and undergoing medical treatment. Officers who knew the ceiling collapsed then evacuated the patient who was being treated, to a safer location to avoid unwanted things.Siddiqi explained that the collapse of the hospital ceiling was allegedly due to the heavy appearance of the barrier covering of each patient."Maybe there are patients who often pull their sal fabrics, then it's heavy, causing the ceiling to fall," he said.He said that currently the room for the lung disease ward filled with fallen ceiling materials is being cleaned and repairs are being carried out.Meanwhile, patients, he said, are still being evacuated to the hospital corridor room, while waiting for other rooms to be available for patient placement.
