Polda Metro Calls Many Actions Of Premanism Debt Collector, Fear Of Reporting Because Of THREATENING
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya said that they received a lot of information about the rise of thuggery by debt collectors. However, the public did not make an official report because they were afraid and threatened.
"People are actually afraid of being restless but to want to report to the police, they are also afraid because they are threatened. Since the virality, this case has received many reports of threats. We have recorded all of them so that this person is afraid to report to the police," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Hengki Haryadi in his statement, Saturday, February 25.
The information is said to have started to emerge after the viral case of the robbery of Clara Shinta's celebrity car and also the crackdown on Bhabinkamtibmas members some time ago.
Hengki also appealed to the public not to be afraid of the various threats made by debt collectors. Then, ask to report all acts of thuggery experienced.
So, with an official report, the police can take action against debt collectors who carry out their duties not according to the procedure.
"We have coordinated with the criminal justice system of the prosecutor's office and so on. To protect the reporter so that there will be no silent sound, there is no phenomenon of people being afraid of acts of thuggery that occur and make residents restless," said Hengki.
Previously, the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran admitted that he was boiling to see the behavior of debt collectors who were increasingly arbitrary in Jakarta.
In particular, after the robbery of a car belonging to the Instagram celebrity Clara Shinta which had gone viral on social media. In fact, the debt collector cursed at a member of the police who was trying to intervene.
"I see that these thugs have started to run rampant in Jakarta. Until last night I slept at 3 o'clock, my blood was boiling, I saw that the members were cursed at," said Inspector General Fadil.
Then, Fadil ordered all his members to take firm action against debt collectors. Thus, Jakarta is safe from all acts of thuggery.
"There is no longer a place for thugs in Jakarta. Don't back down anymore, sad my heart. Back and forth, those debt collectors like that, don't let them, fight them, don't take long," he said.
"This is Kasat serse-kasat cerse, don't be late when coming to the crime scene if there is such a thing. Be quick to respond, quickly arrest those thugs like that. Debt collectors if they say rudely," continued Fadil.
