2 Luwuk Central Sulawesi Prison Employees Edasar Sabu Were Arrested By The Police
The police arrested two employees of the Class IIB Luwuk Penitentiary, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) who were involved in the circulation of methamphetamine.
"Two suspects with the initials MM 38 years old, and NS alias I 36 years old. Both were arrested by the police on Jalan Pulau Bali, Hanga-hanga Permai Village on Thursday (February 24)," said Head of Public Relations of Banggai Police Iptu Al Amin S Muda in a written statement, Friday 24 February, confiscated by Antara. "At around 12.30 WITA the police saw the suspect MM in front of NS's house and at that time he was immediately arrested," he said.
From the search, the police found two clear plastic sachets containing crystals suspected of being methamphetamine drugs in the suspect's pants pocket. In addition, the police also found one piece of methamphetamine suction mat, one match in a wardrobe at the suspect NS's house, as well as at MM's residence, a suction and pyrox device was also found. Based on the results of MM's interrogation, it was found facts that the prohibited items were obtained from an inmate with the initials PN, of which NS's suspect's house was often used to pack methamphetamine before it was circulated. "The suspect MM also often told NS to look for customers to buy the methamphetamine. Both are currently detained at the Banggai Police Station, and further investigation is carried out for the development of the case," he said.
