Former Manchester United Player Wants To Follow Cristiano Ronaldo To Saudi Arabia

JAKARTA - Wilfried Zaha reportedly has ambitions to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. In fact, he is ready to follow Saudi Arabia.

Zaha could have realized his desire to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. This follows the duration of his contract which will end with Crystal Palace this season.

This opens up opportunities for him to get closer to the Saudi Arabian club. Reportedly, three local clubs have contacted him, as followed by the Evening Standard report on Thursday, February 23

One of them is Al Nassr, the club currently defended by Cristiano Ronaldo. In addition there are Al Hilal, and Al Ittihad.

With the offer coming from the wealthy Saudi Arabian club, it could most likely be the main reason Zaha refused his contract extension with Palace.

On the other hand, Palace itself is said to be giving a new contract with a salary increase of 130 thousand pounds, equivalent to Rp. 2.3 billion per week. However, the new contract process was stopped.

Zaha is claimed to have rejected Palace's offer because he was willing to move to Saudi Arabia. Moreover, previously the Saudi Arabian clubs were reportedly not questioning the player's salary request they were after.

After recruiting Cristiano Ronaldo from Man United in 2022, a number of Saudi clubs were again tempted to come to other stars. Al Hilal is one of the most highlighted because he is eyeing Lionel Messi by promising a double salary from what Ronaldo received at Al Nassr.
