Ternate Proposed 5 Historical Objects Become Cultural Heritage
The Department of Culture (Disbud) of Ternate proposed five cultural heritage objects that were considered appropriate, especially in the development of history and science.
The five proposed objects are the tomb of Sultan Baabullah, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, Fort Kalamata, the Sultanate of Ternate Mosque, and the Sultanate Palace.
"Indeed, Ternate City is known as a city that has a long history and the oldest kingdom in Indonesia, of course, storing various cultural heritages must be preserved and preserved," said Head of the Culture Office of Ternate City Sarif Sambarun in Ternate, Thursday, February 23, as reported by Antara.
Sarif said the five proposed in the provisions of cultural heritage are cultural heritage and need attention, especially those with educational, cultural and historical values to be preserved.
In addition, Ternate City as one of the heirloom cities has historical heritage and buildings that still stand firmly to be preserved.
Therefore, with the proposal to determine this cultural heritage, a team of experts will be assessed and a trial to determine the five proposed cultural heritages will be conducted.
Chairman of Bapemperda Ternate Junaidi A. Bahrudin added that his party had initiated the Cultural Conservation Regional Regulation so that there would be no overlapping of authority.
Thus, in the formation of this regional regulation it becomes important in order to accommodate what has been determined by the government. For the sake of preserving cultural heritage, one of them is by forming a Cultural Conservation Expert Team (TACB).
As a city that has a role in world history, Ternate holds many historical heritages in the form of cultural heritage that needs to be protected, through a touch of regulation.
He stated that his party had socialized the Ranperda for the Preservation and Management of Cultural Heritage.
