JAKARTA - Abdurrohman (28), the perpetrator of the stabbing of the Menteng Village Satpol PP at the HI Roundabout, admitted that he was emotional when one of his belongings that was used as a diversion of his business was damaged by officers.
"I passed by, the PP was guarded. I immediately took the thermos, then it broke. How come it's like that, sir, how come I immediately took the the thermos. How come I broke it, sir, I was emotional," said the perpetrator at the Menteng Police Headquarters, Thursday, February 23.
The perpetrator also admitted that he stabbed the victim using scissors.
"Use these scissors (only) once," he admitted.
As of Thursday afternoon, Abdurrohman is still undergoing examination by investigators from the Menteng Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The police have not found any motive for the stabbing.
Menteng Metro Police Chief AKBP Samian said the evidence confiscated from the perpetrators was scissors, the clothes of the victim and the perpetrator.
"Our legal process follows according to the Criminal Code, professionally, we are conducting an investigation. Meanwhile, we are still investigating, maybe there is a misunderstanding between officers who are directed not to sell there," said AKBP Samian to reporters, Thursday, February 23.
As a result of his actions, Abdurrohman was threatened with Article 351 of the Criminal Code related to persecution or 112 regarding efforts to fight officers who carried out community control.
"The perpetrator is threatened with a maximum imprisonment of 5 years," he said.
Previously, it was reported that a member of the Satpol PP who was on patrol became a victim of stabbing by a mobile coffee trader in the HI Roundabout area, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Thursday, February 23.
The victim with the initials B was injured in his body after being stabbed with scissors.
"Yes, it is true that one of the members who was Pam in the area became a victim of stabbing. The wound was in the hand," said one of the Central Jakarta Satpol PP officers who did not want to be named to VOI, Thursday, February 23.
As a result of his injuries, the victim was taken to the nearest hospital. He explained that the victim had undergone treatment at the RSCM.
