PKS Will Be 4 Eyes With Anies Determines Candidates

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) will conduct one-on-one communication with its newly expressed presidential candidate, Anies Baswedan.

The communication will be carried out after the figure of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) Anies has been agreed by the small team of the Change Coalition.

"About the vice president in accordance with the agreement of talks in the small teams of each party from PKS, NasDem and Democrats. We will discuss specifically with the presidential candidate himself, who he is chemistry with," said PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu at a press conference at the PKS DPP, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 23.

Syaikhu said the small team of the Change Coalition continues to monitor the dynamics of national politics, including the results of a number of surveys related to a number of names that have the potential to accompany Anies.

"With whom he can lead to victory, of course we will also see the results of how to handle it, from the survey results of course," explained Syaikhu.

He emphasized that in principle all discussion of Anies' companion figure was carried out by his party together with NasDem and Democrats in accordance with the 2024 presidential election together. "The key is that we both discuss with coalition parties and presidential candidates," he said.
