JAKARTA - An online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver carrying an accident due to recklessly breaking through traffic light (TL) traffic signs on Diponegoro Street, Menteng, Central Jakarta. The ojol driver who drove from the direction of the Proclamation Monument towards Cikini Station bounced after being hit by a car that was traveling from his left side on Imam Bonjol Street to Diponegoro Street. The severity of the collision had thrown the ojol driver and his passenger up to a few meters from the motorbike he was driving. According to the Head of the Menteng Sub-district Transportation Unit, Frendy Manalu, the incident occurred due to the negligence of the ojol driver who was desperate to break through traffic light traffic signs.

As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist and passenger were injured and taken to the Menteng District Health Center. Meanwhile, the crash car was taken to the Menteng Police for inspection.
