In the trial later, 8 witnesses will be presented. They will testify to determine the future of Bharada E.
However, until now the identity of these witnesses has not been known.
"(Present) 8 witnesses, yes," said the Head of Public Information Bureau, Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to journalists, Wednesday, February 22.
So far, this has only been conveyed if there is a possibility that the results of the trial or the verdict will be announced this afternoon or evening.
"We will convey the results later and God willing, hopefully, this afternoon or maybe it depends on the implementation even until the evening, but hopefully today a decision will be made," said Ramadhan.
VOIR éGALEMENT:
Previously, National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo said there was still an opportunity for Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E to continue serving in the Bhayangkara Corps as a member of the Mobile Brigade.
However, regarding this matter will be determined in the hearing of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP).
"Yes, there is an opportunity (Bharada E remains a policeman, ed)," said General Sigit.
Bharada E was found guilty in the case of the premeditated murder of Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J. Eliezer and was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months.
The verdict of the panel of judges has been signed or has permanent legal force. This is because the public prosecutor's team and Bharada E did not appeal.
