Electabilitas Falls Merbas, Demokrat Bilang Belum Seperti NasDem Memperoleh Efek Ekor Jas Dukung Anies Baswedan

JAKARTA - Deputy of Bappilu DPP for the Democratic Party, Kamhar Lakumani, understands that his party's electability or election in the latest Kompas Research and Development survey has been released even though he has declared Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate in 2024.

The survey revealed that the Democratic Party's electability fell to 8.7 percent from 14 percent, occupying the fourth position. Meanwhile, the NasDem Party jumped to 7.3 percent from the previous 4.3 percent.

Kamhar did not question the results of the survey and considered that after the inauguration of carrying Anies, the effect of the tail of a suit had not been enjoyed by the Democratic Party.

He also understood that the survey results were different from NasDem because the party led by Surya Paloh was the first party to declare Anies.

"It is understandable that of the three parties in the Change Coalition that have decided Mas Anies as the current presidential reading, only NasDem has benefited from the tail of the suit as a political incentive," he told reporters, Tuesday, February 22. "This is because NasDem has been declarationd long ago. And has routinely made political gatherings and safaris with Mas Anies, starting from Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi to Papua," continued Kamhar. Kamhar, as well as pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates," he said.

In the future, continued Kamhar, the Democrats will further prepare work plans and activities with Anies Baswedan. He believes that the effect of the tail of the suit will be obtained by the Democrats and other parties from the Change Coalition that support Anies in advancing in the 2024 presidential election.

"We are optimistic that the available time is still very adequate to optimize the effect of this coat tail so that it is optimally distributed and proportional to parties that are members of the Change Coalition," said Kamhar.
