JAKARTA - The SM Entertainment agency shared plans for the release of music for the first half of 2023. On Monday, February 20, SM uploaded their earnings reports during 2022 for investors.
Previously, SM Entertainment confirmed that two of their mainstay soloists, SHINee's Onew and EXO's Kai will release their latest albums.
Then in April, Girls' Generation member Taeyeon will launch her fifth mini album. Followed by NCT's fourth sub unit with the first mini album after NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream.

Then in May it will focus on SHINee where this veteran group will release their eighth studio album. This will be their first release after Atlantis's repackaged album in 2021. In addition, SHINee returned completely after Taemin completed his military service.
One of the NCT members is also said to be making a solo debut with a mini album. It is not yet known who the NCT member was who got the opportunity.
In addition to music releases, SM Entertainment is also focused on making solo concerts. Taeyeon and Red Velvet are reportedly preparing for a solo concert in the second quarter of this year.
This report was released amid the fierce feud between SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man and directors. Recently came from CFO Jang Cheol Hyuk who argued that HYBE's acquisition of SM could create a monopoly on the K-pop industry as a whole.
