Why Didn't The Jambi Police Chief Evacuate At The Very First?
Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono was absent from the four victims who had been evacuated from the location of the emergency landing helicopter. The reason is that conditions and situations are more likely to save them than the two-star general.
"So he is more likely and faster, his four members first," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Tuesday, February 21.
The evacuation process used the method of hoism crane. Where, the victim was lifted using a rope to the helicopter.
This method was carried out because the evacuation helicopter could not land. The terrain is a steep cliff.
Moreover, in the evacuation process, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono also decided to prioritize the four members. Although, he was a priority victim because his right hand was broken.
"So don't hinder it, so he prioritizes his subordinates first," said Ramadhan.
Those who were successfully evacuated included ADC Brigadier Muhardi Aditya and Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Jambi Police, Kombes Andri Ananta Yudhistira.
Then the Director of Polair Jambi Police Kombes Michael Mumbunan, and finally the co-pilot AKP Amos Freddy P Sitompul.
Meanwhile, the remaining four people who are still in the helicopter area have made an emergency landing, namely, Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, Koorspripim Kompol Dafi, pilot AKP Ali Nurdin S Harahap, and Aipda Susilo mechanics.
