There Has Been No Cancellation In Lampung After Ongkos Naik Haji 2023 So IDR 49.8 Million

"Until now in Lampung there has been no JCH that canceled its pilgrimage trip," said Head of the Hajj and Umrah Service (PHU) Regional Office of the Lampung Ministry of Religion Ansori F Citra, Sunday, February 19, confiscated by Antara.

He said the estimated quota for the Lampung hajj in 2023 was 7,140 pilgrims consisting of six categories, namely the paid-off pilgrims who could not leave due to the COVID-19 pandemic, pilgrims based on portion, elderly pilgrims, regional Hajj officers (PHD), KBIHU supervisors, and klotter officers.

"The paid-off pilgrims have indeed become a priority on this year's Hajj trip, which is 3,327 people, then the congregation based on a portion of 3,305 people, 353 elderly people, 54 PHD people, 11 KBIHU people, and 90 kloster officers," he said.

He hopes that the JCHs can prepare themselves before the departure of the Hajj trip, both in terms of health, documents (passports) as well as funds for repayment.

"So, while waiting for an official letter from the central government regarding when to pay off the pilgrimage, JCH should have prepared from now on," he said.

Ansori said that if JCH did not pay off the trip, the portion would be replaced based on the portion of the order below.

"There will be time to pay off for JCH, so if someone does not pay off from the quota, the reserves below have been prepared. For example, a few hundred people do not pay off, later they will automatically be replaced by the order below," he said.

Meanwhile, several points of agreement were made between the Government and the DPR in the Commission VIII DPR RI Working Meeting on the Cost of Organizing Hajj in 2023, namely the cost of organizing Hajj (BPIH) 1444 H/2023 AD on average per regular Hajj pilgrim is IDR 90,050,637.26.

The seeds borne and paid by the congregation are IDR 49,812,700.26 or 55.3 percent which includes flight costs, living expenses, and some of the costs of public service packages.
